The Club welcomes connections with mathematics, chemistry, physics, engineering, medicine, statistics, data science, and artificial intelligence.
One worldwide club: The Biological and Life Sciences Club is organized as a single international club.
It is not divided into Primary, Middle, High School, Undergraduate, or Graduate club sections. Activities are arranged
according to the topic, intended audience, academic level, and needs of each program, while all participants remain part of the same worldwide Club.
Faculty Advisor
The Faculty Advisor will provide academic guidance, help encourage high-quality programming, support
mentoring and scholarly engagement, and advise the Club on activities that can benefit students,
educators, researchers, and the wider biological and life sciences community.
B
Faculty Advisor — To be appointed
Appointment pending
ISQGD is currently identifying an appropriate Faculty Advisor for the Biological and Life Sciences Club. The appointment
will be announced on this page after it is finalized.
Current status: The Biological and Life Sciences Club may begin developing activities under ISQGD coordination
while the Faculty Advisor position remains open. Academic leadership information will be updated when an
appointment is made.
Participation & Giving a Talk
Audience Participation Is Free
Attendance at regular ISQGD Biological and Life Sciences Club activities is free of charge. Interested participants from around the world are welcome
to attend as audience members, learn from presentations, and take part in appropriate academic discussion. There is no audience participation fee
for regular Club activities.
Talk Proposals Are Reviewed Before Acceptance
To give a regular talk or scheduled academic presentation through the ISQGD Biological and Life Sciences Club, a speaker must hold an
active ISQGD Annual Membership before the approved presentation is confirmed. A prospective speaker may submit a proposed
title and brief abstract before becoming a member. Membership establishes eligibility to propose a talk; it does not guarantee acceptance.
Each proposal is reviewed for academic suitability, clarity, subject content, and fit with the Club program before it is accepted and scheduled.
There is no separate paid Biological and Life Sciences Club membership or additional Club speaker fee. Conferences, Special Sessions, workshops, and other formal ISQGD events
follow their own announced registration and speaker policies.
Annual Membership Information
Annual Membership is separate from free audience attendance. Current membership categories, fees, and benefits are maintained on the official ISQGD membership page.
Certificate of Presentation
A speaker who completes an approved Biological and Life Sciences Club talk may request an official Certificate of Presentation.
The certificate recognizes the completed presentation as part of the ISQGD Club academic program. It is optional; the central emphasis remains
academic quality, scholarly communication, and meaningful participation.
Global Scheduling & Time-Zone Coordination
ISQGD serves participants from many countries and time zones. Unless an activity-specific announcement states otherwise, U.S. Central Time (America/Chicago) is the standard ISQGD reference time. Biological and Life Sciences Club activities may be scheduled at different times of day to support international participation.
The date, time, presentation length, audience level, and format of each scheduled activity will be communicated for that activity. The official ISQGD policy on reference time, local-time conversion, and international scheduling is available through the link below.

An International Platform for Biological and Life Sciences Presentations
The ISQGD Biological and Life Sciences Club gives students and other participants a serious academic setting to communicate scientific ideas beyond their own classrooms, institutions, laboratories, or workplaces. An accepted talk becomes part of the official Club academic program and is presented to an international audience through ISQGD’s online academic network.
- Breadth of subject matter: Research, expository biology, student projects, laboratory and field investigations, computational work, education, and well-developed interdisciplinary presentations may be considered.
- International communication: Speakers develop experience explaining biological concepts and findings to participants from diverse institutions, countries, and backgrounds.
- Interdisciplinary exchange: Talks may connect biological sciences with mathematics, chemistry, physics, environmental science, agriculture, medicine, engineering, statistics, and AI.
- Academic development: Careful presentation preparation strengthens scientific understanding, scholarly communication, and confidence in discussing evidence and ideas.
First-time speakers are welcome. Previous conference or seminar presentation experience is not required. A proposal may be based on a topic
the speaker has studied carefully, a project, an interesting problem, an expository subject, professional or technical work, or research in progress.
Acceptance depends on the quality and suitability of the proposed presentation, not on prior speaking experience. Once a talk is approved and scheduled,
ISQGD will provide the speaker with the presentation time, Zoom information, and other necessary arrangements.
Connections with ISQGD Scholarly Publishing
The ISQGD Biological and Life Sciences Club encourages participants to engage with scholarly literature, scientific writing, interdisciplinary research, and responsible academic communication. Relevant topics may intersect with existing ISQGD Books subject areas, particularly mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, statistics, data science, artificial intelligence, and education.
For information about the scope of ISQGD Books, its editorial divisions, and its proposal procedures, please consult the official publishing pages.
Editorial independence: Club participation, presentations, or organizational roles do not imply acceptance of any proposal or manuscript. All publishing submissions are handled under the applicable editorial and independent evaluation procedures.

Program Coordination
The ISQGD Biological and Life Sciences Club is operated by ISQGD as part of its international academic programs. Until a Faculty Advisor is appointed, academic guidance and administrative coordination are handled through the ISQGD Office, with activities supported by ISQGD leadership, appointed volunteers, and designated program coordinators.
Volunteers may assist with communication, scheduling, speaker coordination, participant registration, publicity, event preparation, institutional outreach, and the development of Club activities. Students, educators, researchers, professionals, and other interested participants are encouraged to propose talks, reading groups, workshops, mini-courses, discussion sessions, and other academically appropriate activities aligned with the Club's mission.
Volunteer recognition: Individual volunteer names are not maintained as a standing list on the main Club webpage. When volunteers support scheduled activities, their names and contributions may be recorded in the official activity schedule or program.
Volunteer Coordinator: helps with the organizational and supporting work associated with Club activities, including communication, preparation, scheduling support, announcements, follow-up, and other coordination as needed.
Session Coordinator: helps conduct a particular live talk or session, including welcoming participants, coordinating the speaker introduction, keeping the program on schedule, managing transitions and the question-and-answer period, and helping the session conclude smoothly.
These roles are complementary, and the same person may serve in both capacities when appropriate.
