Mission & Purpose

About ISQGD Books

ISQGD Books is the official scholarly publisher of the International Society for Quality Growth and Development (ISQGD). As the Society’s book-publishing program, its mission is to publish high-quality textbooks, research monographs, lecture texts, advanced educational books, and other scholarly works in mathematics, statistics, engineering, technology, education, data science, artificial intelligence, and related interdisciplinary areas.

ISQGD Books is committed to academic quality, independent peer review, global accessibility, fair treatment of authors, and reasonable and internationally accessible pricing. The program serves students, educators, researchers, professionals, and institutions throughout the world while advancing the educational and scholarly mission of ISQGD.

Guiding principle: Academic quality, global accessibility, and fair treatment of authors. Scholarly rigor and educational usefulness remain the first priorities, while pricing and distribution are designed to make books broadly accessible and the publishing program sustainable.
Publishing Scope

Books Considered for Publication

Textbooks

Undergraduate and graduate textbooks that combine mathematical or scientific rigor with clear exposition, worked examples, exercises, and educational value.

Research Monographs

Focused scholarly works presenting original research, mature theory, or sustained treatment of an important research area.

Lecture Texts

Advanced course books, lecture notes developed into coherent scholarly texts, and books connecting foundational ideas with current research.

Interdisciplinary Books

Books connecting mathematics with statistics, engineering, technology, computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, education, and related fields.

Academic Standards

Editorial and Peer-Review Standards

Every book proposal is first evaluated for scope, academic suitability, intended readership, originality of contribution, and overall readiness. Manuscripts selected for further consideration are assigned to an appropriate handling editor and are normally sent to qualified external reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

Independent Peer Review

Books intended for publication undergo independent academic review appropriate to their subject, level, and intended audience.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, educational value, reviewer reports, and the recommendations of independent editors.

Conflict of Interest

Authors who hold ISQGD leadership, editorial, or governance roles do not participate in the editorial evaluation or publication decision concerning their own manuscripts.

Quality before Quantity

ISQGD Books prioritizes mathematical and scholarly correctness, clarity, originality, integrity, educational usefulness, and long-term value.

Scholarly Oversight

ISQGD Books Editorial Board

The Editorial Board supports the scholarly standards and academic development of ISQGD Books. Its members bring expertise from mathematics, science, engineering, and related disciplines and contribute to the evaluation of book proposals and manuscripts, the identification of qualified reviewers, and the continued development of rigorous, independent, and transparent editorial and peer-review procedures.

Now Inviting Proposals

Call for Book Proposals

ISQGD Books welcomes high-quality book proposals from authors worldwide. We invite proposals for high-quality textbooks, research monographs, lecture texts, advanced educational books, and interdisciplinary scholarly works that align with the mission and academic scope of ISQGD.

We especially welcome: books with clear educational or scholarly value; manuscripts that make difficult ideas accessible without compromising rigor; books that connect mathematics with science, engineering, technology, data science, artificial intelligence, or education; and works intended to serve an international academic readership.

Prospective authors may submit a proposal describing the book's purpose, intended audience, academic level, table of contents, distinguishing features, estimated length, manuscript status, and anticipated completion date. A sample chapter or substantial sample material is strongly encouraged.

Publication Formats

Digital-First Publishing and Print Availability

ISQGD Books follows a digital-first publishing model designed to support efficient, affordable, and international dissemination of scholarly and educational works. Electronic editions provide a principal means of publication and global access, allowing books to reach students, educators, researchers, professionals, libraries, and institutions without requiring conventional inventory or large advance print runs.

Where a physical edition is appropriate or there is reader, library, or institutional demand, ISQGD Books may also make paperback or hardcover editions available through professional print-on-demand and distribution services. Physical copies can then be produced in response to orders and shipped directly to purchasers by the applicable printing or distribution provider. This approach helps avoid unnecessary inventory, storage, and fulfillment costs while preserving access to professionally produced print editions.

Electronic and print editions of a title are based on the same academically reviewed and approved work. Preparation of a print format does not duplicate the scholarly evaluation of the underlying manuscript; however, each format remains subject to appropriate production checks, bibliographic requirements, and quality control before release.

Availability of particular formats and distribution channels may vary by title. ISQGD Books selects formats and services according to the work, its readership, production requirements, accessibility goals, and sustainable publishing practices.

Author-Friendly Publishing

Pricing and Author Royalties

ISQGD Books seeks to maintain reasonable and internationally accessible pricing while offering authors a transparent and favorable publishing arrangement.

Under the standard ISQGD Books model, authors ordinarily receive 40% of Distributable Net Revenue from sales of their books, subject to the terms of the applicable publishing agreement. Distributable Net Revenue is the amount remaining after clearly defined and permitted publication, transaction, production, and distribution costs have been accounted for.

Book-specific one-time production costs are not intended to be deducted indefinitely. Once such approved costs have been fully recovered, they cease to be deducted from later sales. Detailed terms are set out in the formal author agreement for each title.

For Prospective Authors

Questions About Publishing with ISQGD Books

Prospective authors naturally want to understand how a scholarly publisher evaluates, produces, identifies, distributes, and accounts for its books. ISQGD Books provides clear information about independent peer review, editorial independence, ISBNs and metadata, digital and print formats, distribution, copyright, author royalties, and the publication process.

ISQGD Books remains the publisher of works accepted through its editorial process. Established third-party platforms may be used for electronic delivery, retail distribution, print-on-demand, and fulfillment where appropriate; use of such services does not transfer the publisher role to the service provider.

Policies

Editorial, Publishing, and Ethical Policies

ISQGD Books maintains written policies covering editorial independence, peer review, conflicts of interest, publication ethics, author and reviewer responsibilities, copyright and permissions, pricing, royalties, production standards, bibliographic identifiers, distribution, corrections, and appeals.
