ISQGD Annual Membership Overview

For Annual Membership payments, eligible event registration fees, certificate-course fees, donations, and other approved ISQGD payments, please use the official ISQGD payment center.

Payments, Donations, Memberships, Events & Certificates

ISQGD Annual Membership is designed to keep participants connected with the Society's academic, educational, outreach, and scholarly activities. Participation in regular ISQGD club activities is free and does not require a separate club membership fee.

One Annual Membership — One Common Rule for All ISQGD Clubs: ISQGD uses a single Annual Membership structure; there is no separate paid membership for an individual Club. Regular participation and attendance in ISQGD Club activities are free. Anyone who wishes to give a regular or self-proposed Club talk must hold an active ISQGD Annual Membership. Formally invited speakers do not need to hold ISQGD Annual Membership. This common rule applies across ISQGD Clubs unless a specific formal ISQGD program or event publishes a different requirement.

Annual Membership is separate from registration for formal conferences, special sessions, workshops, mini-courses, certificate-course events, and other designated programs. Active Annual Members receive a 20% discount on eligible ISQGD activity registration fees.

Annual Membership Benefits

Eligibility to Give Regular ISQGD Club Talks

The same speaking rule applies across ISQGD Clubs: individuals who propose a regular Club talk must hold active ISQGD Annual Membership. Eligible Annual Members do not pay an additional Club or speaker fee. Formally invited speakers are not required to hold ISQGD Annual Membership. All talks remain subject to academic appropriateness, topic suitability, scheduling availability, and the relevant Club's coordination guidelines.

20% Discount on Eligible ISQGD Activities

Active ISQGD Annual Members receive a 20% discount on eligible ISQGD activities, including conferences, special sessions, workshops, mini-courses, certificate-course events, and other approved academic programs.

Participation in ISQGD Activities

Members may participate in ISQGD activities, receive announcements, and remain connected with the Society's academic, educational, outreach, and scholarly programs. Regular club participation itself remains free for members and non-members.

Volunteer Opportunities

ISQGD welcomes volunteers who wish to contribute to the Society's mission. Volunteer opportunities may be available based on program needs, availability, and organizational considerations. Membership does not automatically guarantee the right to organize an ISQGD activity.

Informal Club Talks

Common Rule for All ISQGD Clubs: Regular Club participation is free. To give a regular or self-proposed Club talk, a speaker must hold active ISQGD Annual Membership. Formally invited speakers do not need to hold Annual Membership. This policy applies uniformly to ISQGD Clubs, while each Club retains responsibility for topic suitability, scheduling, academic appropriateness, and program coordination.

The common rule applies to the Mathematics Club, the Physics Club, the Chemistry Club, the Engineering & Technology Club, and the Probability and Statistics Club, unless an official ISQGD announcement for a particular formal program states otherwise.

Formal ISQGD Events and Presentations

Formal ISQGD presentations, including conference talks, Special Session talks, workshops, mini-courses, Distinguished Lectures, certificate-course events, and other formally announced academic programs, are handled separately from regular informal Club talks.

Formal presentations may have separate registration requirements, may be publicly listed or archived, and may be eligible for certificates according to the policies of the specific event.

ISQGD Certificate Options

ISQGD may issue certificates for eligible official activities, including conferences, Special Sessions, workshops, mini-courses, Distinguished Lectures, certificate-course events, and other formally recognized ISQGD academic or educational programs when a certificate policy is announced.
