ISQGD Membership Overview

For donations, annual membership payments, club membership payments, event registration fees, certificate-course fees, and other approved ISQGD payments, please use the official ISQGD payment center.

Payments, Donations, Memberships, Events & Certificates

ISQGD membership is designed to encourage participation in the Society's academic programs, Mathematics Clubs and Student Chapters, the Probability and Statistics Club, conferences, special sessions, workshops, mini-courses, educational outreach activities, and broader scholarly community.

Membership is separate from any specific event registration. ISQGD now uses separate membership codes for general Society membership and club-specific speaking privileges: AM for ISQGD Annual Membership, AM-MC for Mathematics Clubs Annual Membership, and AM-PSC for Probability and Statistics Club Annual Membership.

The purpose of the membership program is to build a sustainable academic community while keeping participation affordable for students, educators, independent scholars, researchers, and faculty members worldwide.

Annual Membership Categories

ISQGD offers the following general annual membership categories under the ISQGD Annual Membership (AM) pathway. These categories support participation in the broader Society community, announcements, eligible member discounts, formal events, outreach programs, and academic activities. Club-specific speaking privileges are handled separately under the AM-MC and AM-PSC pathways described below:

Club Membership Options

ISQGD uses separate membership pathways to keep the Society's general membership and club-specific speaking privileges clear, fair, and administratively consistent. This prevents confusion about whether one membership gives multiple independent sets of club talks. Each membership type has its own registration-code format.

ISQGD Annual Membership

Code: AM

This is the general annual membership of ISQGD for participants who wish to remain connected with the Society's academic, educational, outreach, and research-related activities.

  • Registration number format: ISQGD-AM-2026-0001.
  • Eligible for general ISQGD membership benefits and applicable ISQGD member discounts described on this page.
  • May receive announcements and participate in appropriate ISQGD academic and outreach activities.
  • Does not automatically include club-specific informal speaking privileges.
  • Formal events, conferences, workshops, mini-courses, and certificates may have separate registration and eligibility rules.

Mathematics Clubs Annual Membership

Code: AM-MC

This membership is for students and eligible participants who wish to take part in the ISQGD Mathematics Clubs and Student Chapters initiative, including primary, middle school, high school, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.

  • Registration number format: ISQGD-AM-MC-2026-0001.
  • Eligible for ISQGD Mathematics Clubs and Student Chapters activities.
  • Eligible to deliver up to five informal Mathematics Club talks or presentations per membership year, subject to scheduling availability and program guidelines.
  • May participate in problem-solving activities, student projects, outreach talks, reading groups, workshops, mini-courses, and club-based academic programs, subject to availability.
  • Receives the applicable ISQGD member discounts described on this page when the membership is active and eligible.

Probability and Statistics Club Annual Membership

Code: AM-PSC

This membership is for participants interested in probability, statistics, stochastic processes, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical computing, mathematical finance, biostatistics, actuarial science, risk analysis, and related applications.

  • Registration number format: ISQGD-AM-PSC-2026-0001.
  • Eligible for designated Probability and Statistics Club activities.
  • Eligible to deliver up to five informal Probability and Statistics Club talks or presentations per membership year, subject to scheduling availability and program guidelines.
  • May participate in reading groups, student projects, workshops, mini-courses, and interdisciplinary academic discussions, subject to availability.
  • Receives the applicable ISQGD member discounts described on this page when the membership is active and eligible.

To pay for ISQGD Annual Membership (AM), Mathematics Clubs Annual Membership (AM-MC), or Probability and Statistics Club Annual Membership (AM-PSC), please proceed to the official payment center.

Membership Payment Portal
Important clarification: The three membership pathways are administratively distinct. A general ISQGD Annual Membership (AM) does not by itself provide club-specific informal speaking privileges. A participant who wishes to give informal talks in the Mathematics Clubs should hold an active AM-MC membership. A participant who wishes to give informal talks in the Probability and Statistics Club should hold an active AM-PSC membership. Each club membership carries its own annual talk limit within that club, subject to program availability, topic suitability, and ISQGD guidelines.

Membership Benefits

Participation in ISQGD Club Programs

Active members may participate in the appropriate ISQGD club programs according to their membership type and program guidelines. Club-specific informal speaking privileges require the appropriate club membership: AM-MC for Mathematics Clubs and Student Chapters, and AM-PSC for the Probability and Statistics Club. Club activities may include informal talks, reading groups, project discussions, workshops, mini-courses, outreach activities, and interdisciplinary academic programs, subject to availability.

Volunteer Opportunities

ISQGD welcomes volunteers who wish to contribute to the Society's mission. Volunteer opportunities may be available based on program needs, availability, and organizational considerations. Membership does not automatically guarantee the right to organize an ISQGD activity.

Informal Club Talks

Club Membership Benefit: Informal club speaking privileges are attached to the appropriate active club membership. An AM-MC membership supports informal Mathematics Club talks, while an AM-PSC membership supports informal Probability and Statistics Club talks.

Mathematics Club Talks

Active Mathematics Clubs Annual Members may deliver up to five informal Mathematics Club talks or presentations per membership year, subject to scheduling availability, topic suitability, and ISQGD program guidelines. These talks are intended primarily for learning, practice, outreach, mentoring, problem solving, and mathematical discussion.

These talks may include learning discussions, project presentations, reading reports, computational demonstrations, and interdisciplinary academic communication.

Formal ISQGD Events and Presentations

Formal ISQGD presentations, such as conference talks, Mathematics Club conference talks, Probability and Statistics Club formal event talks, special session talks, workshops, mini-courses, and Distinguished Lectures, are handled separately from informal club talks.

Formal presentations may have separate registration requirements, may be publicly listed or archived, and may be eligible for certificates according to the policies of the specific event.
