Many students, teachers, researchers, and volunteers from different countries are expressing interest in joining ISQGD's Global Outreach Program. This growing interest reflects a shared belief that mathematics can connect people, build confidence, open academic doors, and create meaningful opportunities for young minds across the world.
ISQGD invites motivated individuals and institutions to become part of this international effort by helping students participate in academic clubs, seminars, conferences, projects, workshops, ISQGD Student Chapters, publication opportunities, and collaborative educational activities.
The program is intended to be a permanent and continuously expanding initiative of ISQGD, growing through long-term partnerships, educational collaboration, responsible outreach, and sustained volunteer engagement rather than short-term projects.
Our Vision and Goal
Education is one of the most powerful forces for improving lives, strengthening communities, and advancing nations.
Around the world, educational systems and academic opportunities differ widely. Some communities have extensive educational resources, research opportunities, and international exposure, while others face real challenges in accessing the same level of academic support. At the same time, every country has talented students, dedicated teachers, creative researchers, and meaningful educational experiences that can inspire others.
The ISQGD Global Outreach Program was created to build bridges between these educational communities. Our goal is to create a global platform where students, teachers, researchers, schools, colleges, universities, and volunteers from different countries can connect, share ideas, attend conferences, give talks, participate in academic clubs, and learn from one another.
Through this program, ISQGD seeks to encourage the exchange of knowledge, teaching practices, research experiences, and educational opportunities across national boundaries. By bringing people together, we hope to help participants understand how education, mathematics, research, and academic collaboration are developing in different parts of the world.
The long-term goal of the ISQGD Global Outreach Program is to help reduce the gap in educational opportunities among different regions of the world by encouraging international collaboration, sharing successful educational practices, and making high-quality academic activities more accessible to students and educators everywhere.
Every ISQGD Global Outreach Volunteer plays an important role in this mission. A Program for Global Academic Access
Around the world, many universities, colleges, schools, and learning communities have excellent mathematics departments, dedicated teachers, enthusiastic volunteers, and highly motivated students. Yet, for many students and researchers, participation in international academic conferences and professional academic communities remains difficult because of the costs associated with airfare, visas, accommodation, and conference registration.
ISQGD seeks to remove many of these barriers. Since ISQGD conferences and academic activities are conducted online, participants do not need to spend money on travel, hotels, or visas. By keeping registration fees intentionally affordable, ISQGD provides opportunities for students, teachers, and researchers to present their work internationally and become part of a wider academic community.
Education should not be limited by geography or financial circumstances.

What Does the ISQGD Global Outreach Program Cover?
The ISQGD Global Outreach Program serves as the umbrella initiative for expanding ISQGD's educational, academic, and community-building activities worldwide. It is designed to connect schools, colleges, universities, teachers, students, researchers, volunteers, and partner institutions with the appropriate ISQGD opportunities.
The program does not replace the leadership of individual ISQGD activities. Each conference, workshop, special session, club, Student Chapter, and journal continues to follow its own academic leadership and approval process. The Global Outreach Program supports communication, promotion, coordination, and institutional outreach so that more people and institutions can become aware of and participate in ISQGD activities.

Important Clarification
ISQGD journals have their own Editors-in-Chief, editorial boards, and editorial procedures. The Global Outreach Program may help people become aware of ISQGD publication opportunities, but it does not manage journal editorial decisions or replace the responsibility of journal leadership.
Why the ISQGD Global Outreach Program?
Many people ask why ISQGD has created a Global Outreach Program and how the program will work in practice. The purpose is simple: ISQGD wants to connect educational communities around the world and make meaningful international academic opportunities accessible to students, teachers, researchers, and institutions, especially where such opportunities may be limited by distance, cost, or lack of global connections.
1. To Reach Talented Students Everywhere
Many talented students have strong ability and interest in mathematics, but they do not always have access to international platforms. ISQGD aims to bring these students into a global academic community.
2. To Support Teachers and Schools
Teachers are the foundation of mathematical education. The program will help teachers connect with ISQGD activities, share ideas, encourage students, and participate in international educational programs.
3. To Build University and Department Partnerships
ISQGD seeks long-term collaboration with colleges, universities, mathematics departments, research groups, and educational organizations across different countries and regions.

Plan of Work: How the Outreach Program Will Work
The ISQGD Global Outreach Program will follow a clear, step-by-step plan so that interested institutions, teachers, students, researchers, and volunteers can understand how to join, how to contribute, and how the program will grow over time.
Initial Meetings and Introductions
Dr. Megha Pandey, Program Director, and ISQGD outreach volunteers will meet interested schools, colleges, universities, departments, teachers, students, and educational organizations to explain the mission and available opportunities.
Identify Interested Institutions and Volunteers
ISQGD will identify institutions, educators, students, researchers, and volunteers who are interested in participating in outreach activities or helping ISQGD reach more communities.
Form Regional Outreach Teams
For each region, ISQGD will form a Regional Outreach Team consisting of volunteers, with one volunteer serving as the Regional Coordinator. These teams will help coordinate communication within their assigned countries and communities.
Introduce ISQGD Academic Activities
Regional teams will introduce the ISQGD Mathematics Clubs, the ISQGD Probability and Statistics Club, ISQGD Student Chapters, conferences, special sessions, workshops, seminars, student research and presentation opportunities, volunteer activities, membership opportunities, academic partnerships, and educational projects.
Encourage Student and Teacher Participation
Teachers will be encouraged to motivate students to present projects, attend seminars, join clubs, participate in conferences, and become part of an international mathematical community.
Support Local Academic Activities
ISQGD will encourage local and regional activities such as student talks, mathematical discussions, school-level programs, project presentations, workshops, and collaborative learning initiatives.
Develop Long-Term Partnerships
The goal is to establish continuing relationships with institutions and communities so that outreach activities can grow steadily and become part of a long-term international academic network.
Report, Review, and Expand
Regional Outreach Teams will share progress, challenges, and future plans with the Program Director. ISQGD will review the progress and gradually expand the program to additional countries and regions.
Practical Working Model
The Outreach Program will work through meetings, regional teams, institutional contacts, teacher and student engagement, online academic activities, and continuous follow-up. Every participant can begin with a small role and later take on greater responsibility as the program develops.

The ISQGD Mathematics Clubs and the ISQGD Probability and Statistics Club serve as the principal entry points into ISQGD's international academic community. These academic programs are designed to connect students, teachers, researchers, and educational institutions with opportunities for learning, collaboration, leadership, and professional development within an international environment.
Regional Outreach Teams work within their assigned countries to establish relationships with schools, colleges, universities, mathematics departments, educational organizations, teachers, students, and local mathematical communities. They introduce the objectives and academic opportunities offered through the ISQGD Mathematics Clubs and the ISQGD Probability and Statistics Club, provide guidance to institutions and individuals wishing to participate, and encourage the development of long-term academic partnerships with ISQGD.
A Progressive Pathway for Academic Engagement
Participation in these academic clubs provides a natural pathway for continued engagement with ISQGD. Members are encouraged to participate in seminars, student presentations, conferences, workshops, collaborative learning activities, research discussions, educational projects, and other academic programs. As participation expands, members may also establish Student Chapters, organize academic events, collaborate with researchers from different countries, learn about publication opportunities where appropriate, and participate in international conferences and research initiatives.
This progressive framework provides a common direction for every Regional Outreach Team while allowing each team to respond to the educational needs and opportunities within its assigned region. Although countries and educational systems may differ, all Regional Outreach Teams share the same mission: to expand access to international academic opportunities, strengthen collaboration among educational institutions, encourage excellence in mathematics, probability, statistics, and related disciplines, and foster lasting partnerships that contribute to the advancement of education worldwide.
Through this long-term strategy, the ISQGD Global Outreach Program seeks to build a sustainable international network of educational institutions, teachers, students, researchers, and volunteers working together to promote academic excellence, international understanding, and the global exchange of knowledge.
Phase I at a Glance
Phase I provides a focused and manageable starting point for the ISQGD Global Outreach Program while preserving the Society's larger vision of worldwide educational service, academic excellence, and quality growth.
Phase I: Initial Outreach Regions
The ISQGD Global Outreach Program is designed as a long-term international initiative that will progressively expand to educational institutions and mathematical communities throughout the world. During Phase I , the program will establish Regional Outreach Teams in selected countries where strong opportunities exist to build academic partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, mathematics departments, teachers, students, and local mathematical communities.
During Phase I, ISQGD has identified 23 countries across Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America as the initial focus of the Global Outreach Program. These countries represent the first stage of a long-term strategy that will gradually expand to additional regions around the world.
These regions represent the first stage of the program's global expansion. As additional Regional Outreach Teams are established, new countries and regions will be incorporated into the Global Outreach Program. The countries listed below should therefore be viewed as the initial focus of a continually growing international network rather than a complete list of participating countries.

The selection of these initial countries does not limit participation from elsewhere. These countries were chosen to establish a manageable first phase of implementation. Organizational Structure
The ISQGD Global Outreach Program has been designed with a transparent, service-oriented, and scalable organizational structure that supports sustainable international growth. The program is led by the Program Director and supported by ISQGD Global Outreach Volunteers and Regional Outreach Teams. Each Regional Outreach Team consists of volunteers, with one volunteer serving as the Regional Coordinator for the team. This structure provides clear leadership while encouraging collaborative decision-making, responsible growth, and high-quality academic engagement and coordinated outreach activities within each region.

Regional Outreach Teams and Public Assignments
Each Regional Outreach Team is organized into two service areas: College and University Outreach and School-Level Outreach (K–12) . This structure helps schools, colleges, universities, teachers, students, researchers, and volunteers identify the most appropriate ISQGD outreach contact within each region.
For each region, one volunteer may serve as the College and University Outreach Coordinator , and one volunteer may serve as the School-Level Outreach Coordinator . These are service and coordination roles , not supervisory positions. Coordinators work alongside fellow volunteers to organize outreach activities, welcome new volunteers, facilitate communication, and keep the Program Director informed about regional outreach efforts.
The two outreach areas are intended only to clarify primary responsibilities. All volunteers are equally valued members of the ISQGD Global Outreach Program and work together to strengthen educational outreach and academic collaboration.
To extend the same outreach network across India, each international regional team is also assigned one geographical group of Indian states. These India assignments complement the countries already served by each team and help ISQGD develop coordinated college, university, and school-level outreach throughout all 28 states of India.
