Author Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in submitting to the ISQGD Bulletin, published by the International Society for Quality Growth and Development (ISQGD).

Before beginning your submission, please make sure that:

  • your contribution is appropriate for one of the Bulletin’s submission sections;
  • the work is original and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere;
  • the manuscript is complete and ready for editorial assessment;
  • the title is clear and descriptive;
  • an abstract is included when required for the selected section;
  • all authors and contributors are identified accurately;
  • institutional affiliations and contact information are current and complete;
  • references and citations are accurate and consistently formatted; and
  • permission has been obtained for any copyrighted material included in the submission, when required.

During the online submission process, you will be asked to:

  1. select the most appropriate Bulletin section;
  2. upload the manuscript and any relevant supplementary files;
  3. enter complete author and contributor information;
  4. provide the title, abstract where applicable, keywords, and other requested metadata;
  5. provide any optional information for the editors; and
  6. review all information carefully before completing the submission.

For initial submission, the main manuscript may be uploaded in PDF or Microsoft Word format.

Please note that News & Activities and Community Forum submissions do not require an abstract, while abstracts are normally expected for the scholarly article sections.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before completing a submission to the ISQGD Bulletin, authors must confirm that:

  • The submission is original, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • The manuscript is complete and ready for editorial assessment.
  • The submission is appropriate for the selected Bulletin section.
  • The main manuscript is uploaded in PDF or Microsoft Word format for initial submission.
  • The title is clear, accurate, and descriptive.
  • An abstract is included when required for the selected section.
  • All authors and contributors are identified accurately.
  • Institutional affiliations and contact information are complete and current, where applicable.
  • References and citations are accurate, complete, and consistently formatted.
  • Figures, tables, illustrations, and supplementary materials are properly identified and referenced in the manuscript, where applicable.
  • Permission has been obtained for any copyrighted material included in the submission, when required.
  • The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the mathematical content and all information provided in the manuscript.
  • The submission complies with the ethical, editorial, and publication requirements of the ISQGD Bulletin.
  • The authors understand that the submission will undergo editorial assessment and, where applicable, peer review.

Feature Articles

This section publishes feature articles of broad mathematical interest that present significant ideas, topics, developments, or perspectives in an accessible and engaging manner. Submissions should be suitable for the broad readership of the ISQGD Bulletin and may include expository, educational, historical, interdisciplinary, or perspective-oriented treatments of mathematics and related areas. Submissions are subject to editorial assessment and, where appropriate, peer review.

K–12 Mathematics Articles

This section publishes accessible and engaging mathematics articles intended for K–12 students, teachers, and readers. Contributions may include mathematical explorations, problem-solving approaches, recreational mathematics, classroom applications, historical perspectives, visual or intuitive explanations, and connections between mathematics and everyday life. Submissions should emphasize clarity, mathematical accuracy, educational value, and accessibility to the intended audience. Submissions are subject to editorial assessment and, where appropriate, peer review.

Undergraduate & Graduate Mathematics Articles

This section publishes mathematics articles intended for undergraduate and graduate students, educators, researchers, and other readers interested in mathematics at the university level. Contributions may include expository articles, mathematical explorations, problem-solving approaches, recreational mathematics, historical perspectives, applications, interdisciplinary connections, and accessible treatments of advanced mathematical ideas. Submissions should emphasize mathematical accuracy, clarity of exposition, originality or educational value, and accessibility to the intended audience. Submissions are subject to editorial assessment and, where appropriate, peer review.

Research & Expository Articles

This section publishes research and expository articles presenting original mathematical results, rigorous mathematical investigations, survey or expository treatments, and short research communications in mathematics and related interdisciplinary areas. Research articles should clearly identify their principal results and contributions, while expository and survey articles should provide clear, accurate, accessible, and well-organized treatments of significant mathematical ideas. Submissions should demonstrate mathematical rigor, scholarly value, and appropriate context. All submissions in this section are subject to editorial assessment and external peer review.

Mathematics Education & Outreach

This section publishes articles on mathematics education, teaching and learning, curriculum development, innovative pedagogical practices, mathematical outreach, history of mathematics, problem solving, technology-enhanced learning, and initiatives that promote mathematical education and engagement at all levels. Contributions may include classroom practices, educational projects, enrichment activities, mathematics clubs and programs, outreach initiatives, teaching resources, and scholarly or expository discussions relevant to learners and educators. Submissions should emphasize mathematical and educational value, clarity, practical or scholarly significance, and accessibility to the intended audience. Submissions are subject to editorial assessment and, where appropriate, peer review.

Community Forum

This section provides a forum for members of the mathematical, scientific, educational, and broader academic community to share news, perspectives, reflections, experiences, ideas, and matters of general interest to ISQGD Bulletin readers. Contributions may include announcements, achievements, book reviews, software and educational resources, conference reports, opinion pieces, community perspectives, responses to previously published material, and short communications concerning mathematics, science, technology, engineering, education, data science, artificial intelligence, and other interdisciplinary or societal topics consistent with the mission of ISQGD. Contributions should be clear, respectful, relevant to the Bulletin’s readership, and suitable for constructive scholarly or community dialogue. Content in this section is editorially reviewed but is not subject to external peer review.

Authors submitting contributions to the ISQGD Bulletin, published by the International Society for Quality Growth and Development (ISQGD), agree to the following terms:

  • The submitted work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • The authors retain copyright in their work.
  • The authors have the authority to submit the work and to grant the rights described below.

Upon acceptance and publication:

  • Authors grant the International Society for Quality Growth and Development (ISQGD) a non-exclusive right of first publication and the right to publish, reproduce, distribute, preserve, archive, and make the work publicly available as part of the ISQGD Bulletin.
  • Published contributions are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.
  • Under the CC BY 4.0 License, others may share and adapt the published work for any purpose, provided appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated, in accordance with the terms of the license.
  • Any third-party material included in a published contribution that is not covered by the Creative Commons license must be clearly identified.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Any third-party material included in the submission has been used with the necessary permission or is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
  • Any required permissions, licenses, or acknowledgments for third-party material have been obtained and properly documented.
  • All listed authors have reviewed and approved the submission and agree to its publication.

By submitting a contribution, the submitting author confirms that all authors have read and agreed to these terms and that the submitting author is authorized to act on their behalf for purposes of the submission.

Privacy Statement

The ISQGD Bulletin respects the privacy of its authors, reviewers, editors, contributors, readers, and registered users.

Names, email addresses, affiliations, account information, manuscript metadata, reviewer information, correspondence, and other personal information entered or collected through this website will be used only for legitimate purposes related to the operation, administration, editorial processing, peer review where applicable, publication, communication, record keeping, and scholarly activities of the Bulletin.

Personal information will not be sold, rented, or used for unrelated commercial purposes. Information may be made available to editors, reviewers, Bulletin staff, technical service providers, or other individuals involved in the publication process only when reasonably necessary for the operation of the Bulletin, when authorized by the individual concerned, or when disclosure is required by law.

The International Society for Quality Growth and Development (ISQGD) takes reasonable measures to protect personal information and to limit access to authorized individuals.

Published contributions and associated scholarly metadata, including author names, affiliations, and other information intended for publication, form part of the public scholarly record and may remain publicly available after publication.
